Supporting
U.S. Beekeepers
One Batch at a Time πΆοΈ
At Zesty Kitchen Wood Care, every batch starts before the tin is ever filled. It starts with the ingredients, the people behind them, and the small choices that make a product feel different.
Why Capping Wax
Matters
Most wood care products simply say "beeswax."
We wanted something with more character.
Capping wax is the delicate wax bees use to seal honey inside the honeycomb. It carries a natural honey aroma, a beautiful golden tone, and a connection to the hive that ordinary bulk wax often does not have.
That is why we source natural capping wax from U.S. beekeepers and small apiaries whenever possible.
From the Hive
to the Workshop
The process begins with beekeepers carefully harvesting honey frames. The wax cappings are removed, collected, cleaned, and prepared before they ever become part of a Zesty Kitchen formula.
This is slower than buying anonymous bulk wax. But slower is sometimes better.
Crafted in
Small Batches
Once the capping wax reaches our workshop, it becomes part of a carefully balanced wood care blend designed to nourish, protect, and preserve the wooden pieces used every day in the kitchen.
Perfect for Everyday Kitchen Wood
Why We Do It
This Way
We believe good products should have roots.
By supporting U.S. beekeepers, we are supporting small farms, pollinators, local agriculture, and the people who help provide one of the most important ingredients in our wood care products.
This is not just about wax.
It is about craftsmanship, care,
and preserving the things that matter.
The Zesty Kitchen
Promise
We do not rush the process.
We do not build products only to look good on a shelf.
We create wood care products for people who care about the pieces they use, serve with, cook with, and pass down.
Because your kitchen wood deserves more than a quick wipe.
It deserves care with a story behind it.
Thank you for supporting beekeepers.
Thank you for supporting real ingredients.
Thank you for supporting craftsmanship.
